Last updated: January 1, 2026
Our commitment to your privacy
ExpressVPN ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard your personal information when you use our services.
Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and payment details (processed securely by third-party payment processors). We do not store full credit card numbers.
Usage information
ExpressVPN maintains a strict no-activity-logs and no-connection-logs policy. We do not collect: browsing history, traffic destination, DNS queries, IP addresses assigned to you, or connection timestamps.
Aggregated analytics
We collect minimal, non-identifiable diagnostic data to maintain and improve our service. This includes app version, server load, and connection success rates β never tied to individual users.
How we use your information
We use collected information to: provide and operate the VPN service, process payments, send service-related communications, and improve our products.
Data sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share data with: payment processors, legal authorities when required by applicable law, and service providers operating on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
TrustedServer technology
Every ExpressVPN server runs on volatile memory (RAM) only. No data is ever written to disk. Servers are wiped with every reboot β making it physically impossible to retrieve user activity data.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Contact us at privacy@expressvpn.com to exercise these rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice.
